Killbear and Oastler Lake PPs to receive $7.2 million for upgrades

Killbear and Oastler Lake Provincial Parks in the Parry Sound region are receiving $7.2 million in provincial funding for various upgrades, according to the Parry Sound North Star. Most of the money, $5.5 million, will be dedicated to Oastler Lake. Killbear will be spending $1,360,000 to electrify campsites and the water filling station, and $410,000 to replace the HVAC and geothermal systems in the visitor centre.
