My wife today showed me a post on Facebook that purported to show an ice-free Wye Heritage Marine Resort on southeastern Georgian Bay. I was more than mildly surprised, as we keep our boat there and live just down there road. I swung by at lunch and confirmed there is still plenty of ice in the basin, although people are starting to show up to do prep. Out front on Severn Sound, the ice still looks solid up toward Beausoleil Island.
