Some divers told me about a wreck at the mouth of the Musquash River, in the back corner of the Cognashene. I tried finding it earlier this summer but came up blank—surprising for such a narrow area of searching and good instructions on where to look. I had another try yesterday and found it. A diver who visited it twenty years ago tells me it is supposed to be a Down East style vessel that was stripped before being deliberately scuttled.
